Kulay with ChiChai: Sunset at Pacifica

Join ChiChai in the first of "plein air" watercolor classes. ChiChai will breakdown the basics of watercoloring while we soak in the landscape to transcribe on paper.

We will paint at the Pacifica State Beach... also known as the Taco Bell Beach lol

This workshop is scheduled in the evening for us to catch sunset :) While Pacifica is known to be foggy, there's still a chance of a golden glow peeking through the clouds. We'll have fun with the unexpected colors together.

Come thru to:

✿ Begin with offerings of gratitude to Mama Earth & Ocean

✿ Learn about what makes this beach special for people and the creatures + fauna we share it with

✿ Learn watercolor basics and drawing composition

✿ Create own watercolor landscape piece(s) by soaking in the environment

This is a moderate walk / slight hike. Please dress comfortably with walking shoes and extra layers.

• Watercolor paper
• Watercolor paint
• Pencil
• Paintbrush
• Mini Stool*

You'll get to take home your artwork and mini paint samples (different from kit above.)

*folx are welcome to bring other portable outdoor seating. Whatever makes you more comfortable <3
