When I was little, my mom and I used to park near the Cliff House to watch the sunset together. This area has served as my security blanket since-- it has seen me at my most vulnerable moments to some of my most uplifted.

I sort of have an identity crisis when people ask me where I'm from. I've lived all over the bay-- Vallejo, Daly City, SJ, SF, Oakland, and more. So, I guess the answer simply is: I'm from the Bay.
Through this painting, I wanted to depict two important things that keep the Bay connected and united because, for me, these are means of me going from one home to another.
